she's a wildflower on fire - butterflies rising

she’s a
wildflower on fire
with all that
sweet soul sugar
making your heart. beat.
and your skin cells rise,
she’s wild butterflies,
and the way she looks at you
under a wild moon
making your pulse move,
her beautiful chaos
asking you to dig deep
into that passion in your bones
and bleed out all those beautiful things
that your own wildfires hold.

i think love should feel like breathing

love like breathing…

i think love is breath…
you breathe in, and come close,
and feel this, and feel me,
and feel it all,
and it takes you all in…
so you breathe out, and step back,
and feel you, and feel it all,
and take yourself in…
until you breathe in again

i think there has to be that breathing,
there have to be those exhales…
that space to take in new air and to
breathe back into yourself

i just think there’s breathing,
i think love should feel like breathing
