butterflies rising is an author/poet who originally began writing in journals and diaries as a young girl. By late middle school and early high school, her journal writing developed into a more poetic style with short poems and quotes. At that time, she was encouraged by friends to begin sharing her writing as a ghostwriter through a blog and a tumblr that the group of friends had. Then eventually, her friends encouraged her to create this poetry blog, butterfliesrising.com, and begin publishing the work under her pen name, and to start sharing on social media as well. After several years of writing, growing as a writer, and posting on social media, she published her first book ‘wild spirit, soft heart' and she continues to write and publish new work regularly.
